As of 1 October 2025 UETDRMP007 replaces the previous unit code UETDRRF004, additional per-requisites are now required. You will be required to upload evidence of of pre-requisites. If you do not have these requirements please enroll into the relevant course.

UETDRMP007 Low Voltage Rescue Course Overview:
This LVR and CPR course provides comprehensive training in life-saving techniques and electrical rescue, equipping participants with the skills to respond confidently in high-risk situations. This course is essential for meeting workplace safety standards and ensuring that workers are prepared for emergency scenarios involving both cardiac arrest and electrical hazards.

This LVR & CPR course is ideal for electricians, electrical workers, and anyone who may need to respond to electrical emergencies in the workplace, ensuring that they are equipped to handle both cardiac emergencies and low-voltage rescue situations.
Entry requirements:
Students are required to hold a current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate. In addition to CPR, students must meet the one of the following requirements and provide evidence of:
Holding a certificate for: UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace;
or
Holding a certificate for: UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker;
or
Have a current and valid electrical license, or hold a certificate for an existing ESI or Electrotechnology qualification.
Evidence of pre-requisite will need to be uploaded in the student portal PRIOR to attending practical assessment
Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and performing rescue breathing techniques on manikins and complete a practical demonstration of a simulated LV panel rescue. Course registration requires a student to provide their unique student identifier number (USI). If you do not have one or cannot find it go to www.usi.gov.au
Pre-course study:
Students may be required to undertake online pre-course work prior to attending the face-to-face session depending on the course delivery mode.
Online study:
Students must have access to a computer, tablet or other electronic device with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies. The online learning component must be completed prior to the practical assessment.
Assessment requirements:
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. Full assessment activities can be found here:

Outcome:
Students will receive a nationally accredited certificate as statement of attainment for the units of competency achieved.
